Top Lodge Dancing Dogs at Bramley Carnival

Bramley Carnival - 4th September - a beautiful, sunny day where everyone met at the local community centre for the procession to the carnival.
The 2010 Carnival Queen - meeting Pluto!

The City Of Leeds Pipe Band led the procession.

A vintage motor taking the Carnival Queen and her two "bridesmaids" to the Carnival in style.

Tom of Tom & Tilly Turnip's Tomfoolery created a fun atmosphere on his travels to the Flash Lane Playing Fields.

The Bramley Majorettes full of energy.

A good friend of Top Lodge Dancing Dogs, Jez Avery joined in the procession showing his skills on his motor bike.

And here come Top Lodge and a few of their dogs

The train was the last part of the procession which closed the Main Street for 30 minutes.

From the streets and into the Main Arena for the opening ceremony.

Top Lodge Dogs flanked by the Army Cadets and members of a Taekwondo Club!

This was one well turned out Pipe Band!!!
The opening speech by the Leader of the Parish Council.

And flowers for Jeannete Geldard the Main Organiser of the event.

ICE were one of the first entertainers - semi finalists from BGT.

Posing for their "fans"

All the fun of the fair!!! It was a noisy event!! Every ride was blasting out music but luckily this was at the far end of the Carnival.

A Bomber fly past.

Jez Avery in full flight.

Top Lodge took to the Main Arena after lunch introducing the members of the team and the sport of Heelwork To Music. Kath with Amber ......................

Lesley with Angus ...............................

And Karen with Erin ...................................

demonstrating freestyle .............................

and heelwork.

Followed by routines - Karen and Kes working to "Me Ol' Bamboo".

Kes loves this routine and so did the crowd.

Lesley with Angus performed to Chitty Chitty Bang Bang's POSH

Another crowd pleasing routine.

And then Fly, helped by Karen, showed the youngsters in the audience how to "Dance Like a Top Lodge Dog"

The youngsters behaved impeccably!!!

Spice and Kath performed to the appreciative audience to "Those Magnificent Men In Their Flying Machines"

Spice worked really well and for once Kath was able to keep up with Spice!
Thank you to Bramley Carnival 2010 for inviting Top Lodge Dancing Dogs to entertain at your second Carnival.
