Samsung at Crufts 2010

Kath and Karen plus their dogs were happy to be invited to demonstrate Heelwork To Music on the Samsung Stand in Hall 3 on Saturday at 3:00pm for an hour. The Samsung Stand was a very busy area at Crufts but once the duo started explaining the sport and completing a few routines along with training from the very basics to more complex moves, the crowds stopped walking by and gathered to watch and learn.

Karen explains what part of the sport Kath & Spice will be demonstrating.

Karen is demonstrating all the official 8 positions allowed in heel work. Karen shows with Fly the change of pace and direction making the heel work very entertaining.

And from above the Stand, Karen and Fly demonstrate moving into position.

WOW - the crowds were so big they started blocking all the aisles around the stand.

Karen finished demonstrating Heelwork To Music with a short routine.
It was great to have the space to do this.

Kath then took to the floor with Spice - after demonstrating basic weaves through legs they then showed weaving arms behind her back.

Spice looking and listening for the next verbal command.

Kath with Spice then carried out a short Freestyle routine which the audience thoroughly enjoyed.

The duo went on the explain how to teach moves safely. Karen lures Spice carefully onto Kath's back until she becomes confident and balanced.

The end result is a happy confident dog able to jump on cue onto the handler's back safely.

Erin - her first time at Crufts. Karen explains how to start a young dog jumping safely, luring her over her legs with food.

And then the audience became involved - with expert guidance, these children are trying to get Amber and Erin to weave through their legs.

The dogs took this all in their stride and the children kept volunteering to join in.

And finally its time to end the entertaining demonstration.
Thank you Samsung for inviting Karen and Kath to entertain on your Stand.
