All three Top Lodge Dancing Dog handlers have been busy over the past few months getting ready for the Crufts Semi Finals for Heelwork to Music and Freestyle.

The Top Lodge Trio and all their faithful "dance partners" were kept busy all day on Saturday 16th Jan.
Kath showed the crew a few Spice Moves
And Lesley showed Angus's new move along with others

And Karen showed some of Kes's moves too.

Not much room in the training hall with Director, Cameraman, Soundman and "Celebrity". All will be revealed one day :-)

The Trio on TV

The Top Lodge Trio have had a very busy weekend. In the midst of their training schedule for the Crufts Semi Finals being held on 30th January 2010, they have been fiilming with "twOfour broadcast" who are the largest factual features and entertainment programming outside London. "twOfour" has won a place on the Broadcast Awards 2010 shortlist in the Best Independent Production Company category.

The trio entertained the film crew and producer/director with their latest routines.

They filmed an entire day which included Erin, the youngest member of the Top Lodge Team being "taught" some simple moves for a short routine by the presenter.

More news on this to follow - including photos. But for now we have to stay quiet :-)

Kath and Karen on BBC Radio Derby

Kath and Karen have had a busy day.

The Kennel Club Press Release informing people of the selection of HTM Team GB which includes Kath Hardman with her 4 yr old Border Collie in the Freestyle Team and as named reserve for the Heelwork To Music Team and that Karen Sykes is named as Head Judge for the entire HTM and Freestyle World Championships has created a lot of local interest.

The Inaugral FCI 2010 Heelwork To Music and Freestyle World Championships are creating interest with the local media in Derbyshire as Karen Sykes has been invited to be Head Judge and Kath Hardman has been selected along with her dog Stillmoor Lady In Red to be part of HTM Team GB in the Freestyle Team and named as reserve for the Heelwork To Music Team.

BBC Radio Derby will be interviewing both Karen and Kath between 10:00 am and 1:00pm tomorrow.

CONGRATULATIONS TO TOP LODGE TEAM MEMBERS - KATH AND AMBER

Stillmoor Lady In Red HTM A Ex, FS I Ex has been selected by the Kennel Club as one of only 6 dogs to represent TEAM GB at the inaugral FCI 2010 Heelwork to Music & Freestyle World Championships to be held in Denmark in June 2010 as part of the World Dog Show.

The Kennel Club issued a Press Release today.
